Gite De Charme - Daignac

“Abstraction faite des extérieurs qui auraient mérité un coup d’entretien, nous a”

The cottage was very comfortable with all the necessary and even extra equipment (dish soap, laundry detergent, salt, …), but the outdoor areas in front and behind deserved better cleaning, trimming, and mowing.

“Tranquilidad, historia y vino.”

I liked how new everything looked, all tastefully decorated, and appreciated the welcome detail; María Therese showed us the cellar, explained the castle’s history, was charming and very friendly, and her perfect English made the tour clear. The only downside was the presence of many insects, but being in the countryside it was normal and not a problem for us.

“Calm et apaisant”

The setting was pure nature, the place was clean, the staff were responsible, everything was well organized, and we were very well received—bravo! Thank you for everything.

The cottage was very pretty and very quiet; the owner was attentive and offered a castle tour. The bathroom was small, the 140 cm bed felt a bit tight, and for the price the amenities didn’t match up.

“Excellent séjour en entre 2 mers à 15 mn de St Emillion”

The setting and the history of the place were thoroughly explained by our host Marie‑Esperance, who also handed us bread and pastries on Sunday morning, saving us the trip in the car.
