The hotel’s location is great, just a short walk from the city centre, and breakfast was pretty good. The corridors and common areas were nicely decorated, and the morning receptionist at check‑out was very friendly. For a 4‑star hotel, the rooms could have been better equipped; the bathroom accessories were minimal, there was no water heater or kettle, and there was only one chair plus a sofa‑like piece that was uncomfortable. The afternoon receptionist at check‑in was not very friendly, quickly read us through the stay conditions and then left.

The hotel is small and located near the historic centre. It’s quiet, clean, and has a convenient private parking. The interior is styled like a contemporary art museum. I’ll come back. The mattress is firm, the coffee at the buffet is bad and the staff knows it—ask to have it made in the bar instead. The interior over‑emphasises modern art.

“Sleeping in an art gallery”

The place is located just a 5‑10 minute walk from the centre. Parking can be chaotic; there is free public parking next to the hotel, but it’s a lottery to find a spot. Alternatively, there’s gated parking nearby for about 5‑6 cars at 8 € per day, which is reasonable. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was solid with a good selection. The hotel itself feels like a small art gallery, so I’d recommend strolling around. There is a sauna for guests, but I didn’t try it. The rooms lacked some comfort details, like napkins. There were many lamps in the rooms but no common panel to control them, so you had to walk around at night to find the right switch. The biggest issue was a strange smell in the rooms, a mild sulphur‑like odor that I couldn’t locate. I asked to swap rooms, which was granted and the staff were very kind. The second room was okay at first, but later I smelled the same thing there, though it seemed to come and go. I suspect that because this is Serbia, smoking may have been allowed inside before, and the smell lingers even though the hotel is non‑smoking, but that’s just a wild guess and might be wrong.

We travelled with my husband and our little child. We had to leave the hotel because the child didn’t like it. We stayed for 6 hours, but we were charged as if we had stayed a full day.
