The room was dirty, the bed near the window smelled bad, and the hair dryer didn't work; we had to ask the man who opened the door for a key, but no one else was around.

“Scam. We booked and paid for family suite apartment which when i arrived they lied and said they don’t have one there an”

The reception staff were the only downside, nothing else stood out.

Nothing. I was not pleased with their services. The Hyde Hotel assigned me to an alternative hotel at the very last minute, claiming an electrical fault; the alternative was below standard, with poor facilities, faulty bathroom equipment, a room close to reception, and someone working in front of the room in the morning disrupting my sleep. The location was very far.

“Great location and good to crash in after a busy day. Wouldn't want to spend much time in the room.”

The location was great and easy to find; the family was a great size with a double bed in a separate adjoining room, and the price was fantastic. The room needed many repairs: floorboards were lifting, the bathroom sink was blocked and had bugs crawling in it, and cleanliness was lacking, with rubbish left from previous guests and dirty mugs.

“A lot of Stairs, lovely modern rooms”

The location and its facilities were fine, yet we had to climb all the stairs to reach our 5th‑floor room because there was no elevator.
