The overall vibe was comfortable and the staff were efficient and friendly. However, the menu was pricey and limited. After a previous stay, I noticed changes that weren’t improvements. My husband and I ordered Eggs Benedict for breakfast, but the eggs were undercooked and the dish was lukewarm instead of hot. Later that day I had a stomach upset, which I attribute to that breakfast. We booked a deluxe room that didn’t feel particularly deluxe unless you count the bath. I sensed price hikes but also many cutbacks. The breakfast buffet had been removed, so choices were limited for the price. We stayed two nights, yet our room wasn’t serviced properly: our cups were dirty, we weren’t given water or extra tea, and no biscuits were provided upon arrival or during our stay. Disappointing.
