The setting is calm and quiet, reception girls are very friendly, and breakfast is simple but lovingly prepared by the kitchen staff; the beaches are close but need a car, except for Itamambuca where you just cross a freshwater river—be careful of tides at certain times. The property has a pool and a grill that costs to use; I’ve stayed in places that only let you reserve a day and use it, but that’s fine. For lunch and dinner we had to go into Ubatuba’s center for cheaper options, though if you want to splurge there’s a nice restaurant near Bona. The place is peaceful, though I might not return for the location, it’s still nice. The incense smell from the hotel—typical of a Bali‑style Indian vibe—was a bit bothersome.

The environment is pleasant, we were well received and the team was ready to help; breakfast was well served. However, the bathroom in the room is cramped, the sink faucet drips onto the counter and floor, and the shower needs maintenance. The luxury suite was too small, the minibar was loud, and the wardrobe was broken. Though the setting is pretty, the space feels uncomfortable due to maintenance issues. The outdoor area and parking become muddy and inaccessible on rainy days, unprotected from rain, and the beautiful but unused areas give a sense of uselessness.

“Aconchegante e charmoso”

The place is cozy, but the strict extra blanket tax feels over the top, especially on a cold day when only a very light blanket was available. The shower has little water because of a blockage from lack of maintenance.
