The host was very helpful and patient, though communication had issues; the place offers good value and sits right in the wilderness, close to nature. Problems: 1. Mosquitoes. 2. Shower water flow was weak and not hot. 3. No Wi‑Fi in the cabana.

The scrambled eggs with tomatoes and chili were the best I’ve had in Mexico; the setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the administrator lady was very helpful and kind.

“Un moment merveilleux loin de tout”

The accommodation is hidden in a stunning Mexican landscape of valleys and endless cactus; the tiny houses are gorgeous and add to the charm. We were very well welcomed and the staff is friendly. The site matches the photos and offers excellent value for money – highly recommended. On the downside, the place is very remote, with no shops or other amenities within 30 minutes, so guests should stock up beforehand. There is no network or internet except at the entrance, which still lets you set your direction. Many houses were nearby, and we were placed next to two that hosted other guests who were noisy (late evening parties and loud children waking us up). It was a bit disappointing to have that noise when the area is supposed to be a peaceful haven; it would have been better to be assigned a house farther away for quiet.
