“The most beautiful home with the most amazing staff!”

The property blew me away—stunning, with facilities that felt like home. The staff were flawless; our butler Asanga was a delight, attending to every request and making us feel right at home, turning the stay into something ten times better. We occupied a master suite that might be the best room we've ever had, even after visits to the Maldives, Seychelles, and Mauritius. The only wish was to extend our stay; everything else was perfect.

“The most beautiful hotel!”

We booked a suite for the first two nights of our honeymoon, and it was the best hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. The space was huge, featuring a separate living room and private balcony. The entire property is gorgeous and impeccably maintained, with a lovely pool and rooftop jacuzzi. The food was tasty, offering good menu choices. Darshana at Ishq looked after us, providing city information and a warm welcome, even leaving a congratulatory card and pudding for our honeymoon. Thanks for a brilliant stay—nothing was lacking.

Ishq is a charming, intimate hotel with only four rooms, giving it a private home vibe rather than a typical hotel feel. Its small size means fewer facilities than a large resort, which actually adds to its charm. The staff were outstanding, never refusing a request. I especially liked the small swimming pool and on‑site massage area, and the location made it easy to walk around the neighborhood or hop on a tuk‑tuk to the city.
