I recently stayed at a hotel that left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The initial room I was given had a non-functional air conditioner, and the staff suggested keeping the windows open, which wasn't ideal. However, the replacement room had a working AC, but it produced a constant, annoying noise. Unfortunately, the bathroom was in a state of disarray, with a visibly stained toilet that seemed to be a result of prolonged water damage.
