“This is strange bad experience in such apartment”
It’s an old house, which some might like, but the staff are bad. The disco nearby means loud music at night in the apartment, which is really bad. There’s also a strange storage space under the ceiling with a window, so you can see the old staff and their stuff from the bed, and vice versa—picture it. The bathroom’s hot water runs out during the shower. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, yet mosquitoes are present. If you message the owner after 6:30 p.m., you’ll automatically get a reply saying they’re not available and someone will answer you… sometime. The bathroom has a normal‑sized window that opens onto the terrace, with transparent curtains, so someone could see you while you shower or use the toilet. In short, there’s no investment in the accommodation; you can’t shower without the water spilling all over the bathroom, the ceiling light has no glass but a cloth cover, and the cupboards are old with dusty books and other stuff.
“A prescindere dal B&B Firenze è stupenda.”
I stayed at Del B&B nulla and after finding a decent trattoria, Giuggiolo, not far from the room, and catching a bus to the historic centre, we really enjoyed Florence’s sights. Private parking in Florence is pricey (up to 9 euro an hour) and the ZTL is extensive, split into a green shield zone that limits entry to the most polluting cars and a centre zone for residents or private parking users. We never saw the host and all communication was via WhatsApp. There was no light switch for the staircase at the entrance, so we had to use our phones to go up. The room window faced a busy street, making it noisy. Street parking was paid and there were no free spots nearby; all the blue lines cost 2.5 euro per hour. The towel warmer in the bathroom was very dirty with stains that looked like either grime or rust.
“Esperienza super positiva”
The location is great for reaching Fiesole, the environment is unique and well cared for. Cleanliness was superb and comfortable. There is free parking under the house. Everything was fine!
“Chambre propre et proche d'un arrêt de bus”
Nice room, close to the bus stop, clean. The room is poorly insulated and the traffic noise is very loud.
The apartment was gorgeous. It would have been better if the air conditioning could be turned on in the living room when it gets very hot.
