Before the trip I asked for a good view from the room and mentioned my companion’s birthday; they arranged it and left a congratulatory note on the bed. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. I wish they’d give us info on resort events at check‑in—there was no mention of the fireworks.

The hotel is luxurious with excellent value for money. The rooms are large and well equipped. Nothing to complain about.

We stayed in summer when the place was pretty quiet, which was nice. The onsen was large and relaxing, and the room was clean and beautiful. The buffet dinner at the hotel wasn’t very good; there was no sashimi, which I expected to be a normal offering in Japan.
