“Hôtel vintage mais confortable et propre bien placé pour visiter Krakov. Super petit déjeuner”
The hotel sits in the city center, and the breakfast is calm.
“Zweckmäßige Unterkunft mit relativ unmotiviertem Rezeptionspersonal”
The hotel is in the nightlife district, yet the view looks out onto a dreary courtyard with a noisy air‑conditioner.
There is a wide selection for breakfast, and the location is beautiful – in the Jewish quarter.
The staff are pleasant, but the windows face the courtyard.
“Disappointing hotel”
There wasn’t much to like; it was a basic room, albeit clean. The photos of the room are misleading, showing flowers, many pillows and throws over the bed, which gives a false impression and is disappointing when you arrive. The wardrobe is flimsy, not fixed to the wall, and you have to be sure it doesn’t fall on you. There is no safe in the room, so I felt I had to carry my passport and valuables with me all the time. I stayed for 3 nights and towels weren’t changed. Tea and coffee were not replenished in the room. Apart from the first gentleman we spoke to when we arrived, who was very pleasant and helpful, all the rest of the staff never spoke or asked if we enjoyed our stay when we left. While we had a great time in Krakow, we felt that the least time spent in the hotel the better. It is just to sleep in but does not make you want to spend time in it.
