The staff were friendly and professional throughout, and the value for money was solid. From early morning on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the gym’s constant clanging of weights and dumbbells made a lot of noise, and that really disrupted our sleep.

I liked the room – it wasn’t too big or too small, and it stayed clean. The hotel should not be called a 5‑star because it doesn’t even have a restaurant; I expected a better breakfast. The breakfast area was tiny with only five small tables, and the selection was very poor for a 5‑star. I’ve stayed at 4‑star places that offered a better breakfast.

The breakfasts were very good and varied, and the staff were kind and attentive. Construction work is happening next door, which I understand is temporary.
