Thanks to Saiful’s service, the room was large, the bed comfortable and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. Daily cleaning and refills were prompt, and replies on WhatsApp were quick. The hotel sits on the edge between the heritage core and the buffer zone, offering easy views of attractions and convenient access to the commercial centre; most parts of Oldtown are within walking distance. It’s also suitable for solo travellers, with almost entirely contact‑less service, a keypad lock, and CCTV for safety. The only downside is the loud traffic from the main road at night; earplugs are necessary because cars and motorbikes in Malaysia love to rev loudly.

Saiful was available and courteous. The property is in a convenient location, a 10‑minute walk from the city centre.
