It was a very pleasant village of cabins with a warm, lived-in feel. I liked the nature around the cabin, and even though the train tracks ran very close to the cabin we rented, we were never bothered by the trains. The Djurås cabin is good—bright, spacious, and friendly. Some doors and handles could use a bit of oiling. I also have an idea for some kind of blackout for the night, an extra curtain or something similar for the bedrooms.

I went back to this spot in Falun for another cross‑country ski trip and found it still decent, but the Wi‑Fi never worked, just like it did when I was here a year ago. At checkout, the front desk told us to vacuum the room, yet the machine’s hose was clogged with dust, so it wouldn’t run. I mentioned this to the staff, who seemed aware but still handed us the vacuum anyway, which was frustrating.
