The location and the room were fine, but the breakfast didn't feel like a proper breakfast.

The location was excellent. I loved Māori as a destination, close enough to Amalfi, Positano, etc., but we thought the beach here was better.

“Alojamiento cumplidor”

Being close to the port and the main street made it easy to find restaurants. Maiori is the best spot to visit the Amalfi coast, a quiet place away from crowds. I also liked that the SITA bus ran right next to the accommodation, letting me travel to Amalfi or Positano. I didn't like that we were only given one roll of toilet paper and little shower gel in the shower, and everything felt very impersonal. The only communication with the host was via WhatsApp, and they could improve breakfast options or partner with another provider (the restaurant next door leaves a lot to be desired).

“It did a Job”

It sits on the main road next to the beach, so the location was great and easy to reach from the ferry. The room was clean and had all the basics. The check‑in was fine, but the last step—going to the café—was odd. We were handed four paper cups instead of china or melamine for hot drinks, and the kettle wiring could be better. Maybe the room should have been serviced daily. The lift was out of order on the day we checked out. The bed was hard, and there were only two equally firm pillows.
