“It was irritating”

Nothing to like about this property. The service was very poor and they charged more than the listed price.

The staff were quick to meet every guest need, but the property owner’s attitude and conduct were a major drawback. Before arriving, I noticed only one room was listed on the site, so I talked to the owner about adding a guest to the King Suite; she said it could fit a family and that I could add a bed for an extra fee. I also asked if the driver could rest somewhere, and she confirmed he could stay outside the premises. With those assurances, I paid in advance; otherwise I’d have cancelled that day and found another place. When we finally got there after a long drive, the room wasn’t opened right away. The info about an extra room was confusing: first it was said to be in a different property, then later that it was just opposite our room. Because the special suite on the first floor cost nearly three times a standard double AC room, I expected more. I paid the full amount and accepted the arrangement, but the room was a let‑down: it had no AC, only a cot in the first room and a mattress on the floor in the attached room, no chairs or sofa, and no hot water. The experience fell far short of what I’d imagined from the booking conversation and payment.

“Bang for the Buck”

The place had a calm, peaceful vibe and the house was clean, and the owner was helpful with my requests. Nothing else stood out.

Parking, a garden, and a common area were good, but we had to ask for sheets and towels, and there were no tea bags. Anything we needed required calling the caretaker. The photo in the ad showed a ₹4.5 K price, yet we were given a smaller twin sharing bed for ₹2.35 K.

They let us check in early, the owners are very flexible and nice, and it’s very close to Isha Yoga Center, so you can enjoy the architect of the property. If they could provide a dental kit, that would be good.
