Almost everything is there; just bring your own toiletries. The dryer is super handy, the beach is super close and beautiful, the three dog hooks are very cute, the host communicates with you using a translator, the kids are very well‑behaved, and you might even chat with a friend from Taiwan who stays there.

The room was just right for our stay. If you’re okay with the host family—who are very helpful, warm, and accommodating—living there with another group, this is a great place to stay in Miyako.

The staff were very friendly, the room and shower were clean, and the beach is about a 10‑minute walk away.
