The host is very friendly, serves a superb breakfast that can be customized to your taste, and for crime‑film fans the Café Sherlock and the Krimi‑Hotel sit right across the street—only downside is that the pension is right in the middle of town, which the host can’t change.

I found the location right on the Eifelsteig and the breakfast was great, so I’d definitely recommend it. Everything else was fine.

The pension in the center of Hillesheim was very pretty and clean, and the chef welcomed us warmly—thanks for the hospitality. The only thing that could be better is a new shower head; otherwise we were completely happy.
