“Agradable Ambiente — Con gusto volvería.”
The hotel sits in a safe part of the city, and being in the Centro means you’re close to restaurants, the hotel’s own eatery, and shops for toiletries or snacks. Walking to tourist spots is easy, which is handy if you want to explore. Check‑in was straightforward and the staff were friendly; reception is open 24 hours and there’s an elevator. The room was a decent size, spotless, and had a carpeted floor. Noise was low, ventilation good, and the bed—firm mattress—was very comfortable. The bathroom was in good shape, with solid water pressure and temperature, and plenty of towels. There’s no air‑conditioning, but a ceiling fan was present. I didn’t have any temperature issues during my stay, though the weather was pleasant, so I can’t say how it would feel in a hot season. I really liked the vibe of the place; it has a kind of liminal space feel, which I enjoyed, and the quiet and dim lighting add to the calm atmosphere. Overall, I recommend Hotel Fleming as a clean, quiet, and well‑located option for seeing CDMX or attending an event nearby. I’d stay here again. I did note a few things to keep in mind, though they’re not necessarily bad. The low lighting in the room made it hard to apply makeup, especially since I wear glasses. The bright white light in the bathroom was also not great, but I managed with my phone’s flash. Wi‑Fi didn’t work for me; maybe I should have mentioned it to staff, but I didn’t stay much in the hotel, so I used my own data. If you have sensitive skin, bring your own soap because the hotel’s soap dried and irritated my skin. There’s no air‑conditioning, but the fan was fine for the mild weather. No Smart TV, but that’s a minor issue.
