“Very good, exceeded expectations”

Breakfast was good, the location was good, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was that the breakfast could have been a bit hotter.

The bed was comfortable, but our first room had food on the floor and in the dresser, the phone was broken, a black substance was in a side drawer, a white substance was on a cabinet, and the bathroom light didn’t work. My partner had to call the front desk from his phone because the room phone was broken. A very nice woman inspected the room and moved us to a new one. We checked the second room quickly and everything seemed okay at first. After returning from a night out we discovered the bathtub was filthy with black rings, and the hair dryer didn’t work. When I called the front desk, the man who answered said a new one would be brought, but it never arrived. At checkout I raised the issues again, received an apology that felt inadequate given the problems with both rooms, and was offered a discount. We will not stay here again.

“Good breakfast, but the room and facilities could use some improvement.”

The breakfast had a fairly good selection with plenty of options to choose from. The facilities felt quite old, and there was a strong rotten-egg-like smell when we first entered the hotel. The room also didn’t feel very clean, and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel the springs underneath while sleeping
