The room was spotless and the staff were genuinely friendly and quick to help. The place is close to Riocentro, but finding it can be a headache if you’re not familiar with the area. The rooms are pretty basic and there are a lot of stairs, so anyone with mobility issues will struggle.

The hotel’s facilities are decent, the coffee in the lobby is decent enough, and the staff are friendly enough. Unfortunately, the noise level can get out of hand – some guests blast their radios at six in the morning, which makes it hard to sleep.

I only stayed one night and would definitely come back for another business trip. The only hiccup was that the AC in my room never got cold, even though the weather was mild; I didn’t bother telling the front desk because it didn’t get uncomfortable. My friends in the next room said their AC was working fine.
