The location mattered most and the receptionist was helpful, yet I asked for a non‑smoking room and was first given one that smelled of nicotine; after a quick chat the receptionist moved me to another room. The hotel feels more like a 3‑star than a 4‑star, and while the room was clean it was rather dreary.

Our stay at Hotel River Retreat was truly par excellence and surpassed our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we felt outstanding hospitality, warmth, and genuine care from the entire team. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, well‑maintained, and created a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay wonderfully relaxing. What impressed us most was the caring, cooperative, and professional attitude of the staff. A very special mention for Akshay and the entire team, who were always attentive, polite, and ready to help with a smile. They made us feel genuinely valued and cared for throughout our stay. The food deserves special appreciation. Every meal was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The taste, quality, and variety exceeded our expectations and added greatly to the overall experience. Hotel River Retreat is not just a hotel; it is a place where guests are treated with warmth, respect, and personal attention. It is rare to find comfort, excellent service, and outstanding food quality together so perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. We would absolutely love to visit again!

It was quite a comfortable one night stay, nice clean rooms. Food was okay, not bad. Location is excellent - both a beautiful and serene location beside the river, as well as right next to the airport. They had a big wedding and mostly the whole hotel was booked for the wedding which meant it was a bit noisy the evening I stayed

The staff were extremely courteous and ready to help with anything, providing very attentive service, but the price felt high compared with what you actually get.
