The management by Mrs Valentina was poorly handled and unprofessional. We were almost at the property when I discovered via a phone call that I would not be able to stay there because of a boiler failure and that we would be moved elsewhere. We waited for her at a bar she had pointed out, where we were supposed to have breakfast the next morning. We were taken to a nearby apartment where the radiator was on and she couldn’t turn it off. Then she claimed she had turned it off and left in a hurry without even asking for the documents of the three guests. When I pointed this out, she said she would send them later on WhatsApp. When we returned late that evening, the apartment was at a tropical temperature, the thermostat didn’t work, and we slept with the windows open. The next morning we went to breakfast, but without a ticket, and the barista told us the croissants were finished and to go elsewhere. I called Mrs Valentina, who said she was unlucky because the bar had a lot of demand that morning… we had breakfast at a nearby bar, leaving the bill to pay at the barista’s suggestion. This inadequate and superficial handling by this lady ruined my short vacation; it has never happened with other bookings made with Booking over the years. This management does not meet Booking’s standards. The documents were never requested again.

I was drawn to the spot because it had a lovely balcony where I could chat with passersby while sipping tea, but the only downside was that we had to leave early.

I liked how close it was to the city center and the interior layout, but honestly nothing was wrong – everything was perfect.
