Tides Inn & Suites

The view, tub, and quiet were great, but the staff could definitely be friendlier; we liked the guy from a few years back.

“Usually, the room is very peaceful and quiet. The view is fantastic. I love Tides Inn.”

A local bus on the corner that goes into town was very handy and free, which helped me get to my work at the local library as well as to tourist shops and restaurants. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room was very clean, and the reception and housekeeping staff were nice. The downside was that the room near reception wasn’t quiet – the noise from people checking in was annoying, and the whirlpool above me was loud at 9 to 10 pm. It was too noisy for me, though the front desk clerk offered to complain to the room if they didn’t stop at 9:30, which I appreciated. In the future I’ll choose a room further away; I’ve enjoyed staying at Tides Inn for the last three years.

The finishes were nice, including a gas fireplace, a large jacuzzi, a spacious bathroom with a big TV, and a comfortable bed; the views were beautiful. No complaints.

“A clean and comfortable accommodation.”

We could see the water from our room, it was clean and the bed felt good. Finding the hotel was easy and parking worked well. However, there were no luggage stands and the building looked a bit weathered, probably because it’s right on the water.
