“The perfect place to rest”

We liked a lot of things: the place was very clean, the staff were attentive and friendly, the pool was amazing, breakfast was delicious, and the view was beautiful—perfect for rest and disconnecting. It was a bit far from the main activities, but that didn’t bother us because the hotel always helped us arrange a driver.

“Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful quiet area.”

The traditional buildings are fantastic, set in a lovely quiet spot. It would have been nice to have a small fridge and kettle.

“Magnifique”

I was warmly welcomed to this lovely property, where the staff were smiling and pleasant, and the atmosphere invited relaxation and tranquility. I enjoyed a wonderful massage experience, surrounded by lush greenery and the sweet songs of birds. Our hosts were generous in sharing their culture and way of life, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn about their traditions. With a cooking class and nature outing on offer, I felt like I was in for a treat.

“of the beaten track”

I had a serene stay in this lovely property featuring four traditional Javanese houses, an open-air restaurant, and a stunning swimming pool. The location was very quiet, surrounded by picturesque fields, but a bit isolated with no nearby restaurants. I appreciated the owner's attention to detail and the subtle French influence throughout the property. However, I did find my room to be a bit dark, and having your own transport was necessary to explore beyond the village.

I spent two peaceful days in this beautiful and typical setting, enjoying a scooter rental on site, fantastic massages, and the option of a delicious Balinese dinner. The owner's excellent French language skills made for a great learning experience, and I appreciated the insight into Balinese culture. Although dining outside the property was a bit tricky due to the isolated location, the overall experience was wonderful.
