Petra Gate Hotel

I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful host during my stay.

The hotel's location and the friendliness of the staff were definite positives. The room was new and had air conditioning. However, there was one major issue - the water in the shower was only lukewarm, which made it difficult for us to warm up during the cold winter months. Perhaps it was just a temporary problem, but the new bathroom was a redeeming feature.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to the incredibly friendly owner who went above and beyond to make our trip special. He not only booked our desert tour tickets, but also offered valuable advice and even gave us a lift to the Petra visitor centre on a particularly chilly and windy morning. The owner's kindness and hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service we received.

I was really impressed by the hotel's stunning views and its proximity to the city center. However, I felt that the hotel could use a bit of a facelift to bring it up to date.

“Very friendly staff”

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, I was quite satisfied with my experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand, which made my stay feel particularly welcoming. My room was both comfortable and quiet, which was perfect for rest after a long day, and the hotel's location was very convenient for exploring the area.
