The 1924 Hôtel, Grenoble, is situated in the city's heart on a quiet street, 450 metres from the SNCF train station. It offers free WiFi and comfortable rooms with modern facilities, en suite bathrooms, soundproofing, and satellite TV. Some rooms overlook Vercors mountain. A local and bio breakfast is served daily, with nearby restaurants and easy access to public transport, including a nearby tram stop.

The welcome was majestic, with drinks and cakes available at will—never seen anything like it! Bravo.

This grand old hotel offered free coffee, tea, and pastries downstairs. The breakfast is probably the best we've tasted at numerous hotels, with sizzling truffled fried eggs and baked legumes in a cheese sauce. The hotel sits in a good spot in the old part of town, and we could store our tandem bike in a locked area across the street.

The hotel’s style, comfort, and cleanliness, plus the friendly reception and housekeeping staff, were very pleasant. In the bathroom, there was no holder to place personal items.
