Robert ST Newlands in Wellington offers a stylish guest house with a sun terrace, free WiFi, lounge, shared kitchen, laundry, outdoor seating, bicycle parking, and barbecue facilities. Each room boasts a private bathroom, kitchenette, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, dining table, outdoor furniture, parquet floors, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and electric kettle. Located 15 km from Wellington Airport, it enjoys excellent public transport, friendly host, and a well‑equipped kitchen.

The best BnB I’ve stayed in! A spacious private room with ensuite, a walk‑in wardrobe, and a king‑size bed. The heated towel rail in the bathroom is a nice touch. Host June is wonderfully welcoming — she even lent me her bus card! Safe neighbourhood with private parking. The house also has a sweet 16‑year‑old dog and a friendly cat that made it feel like home. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Wellington.

The host was lovely and communicated well with full and clear instructions. The location was fabulous, so close to Wellington CBD. I felt somewhat self‑conscious walking through the lounge while the host was there to get to the kitchen because I didn’t want to impose, but because of the host’s kindness I got over it and it was fine.

The host was very friendly and shared useful tips about Wellington, the room was large with a modern private bathroom, and the location was a bit out of the city but pleasantly quiet; Milo the dog was very nice. Nothing the host could change, but Google Maps repeatedly directed us to house number 18.
