Youssef is a golden person. He talks, gives advice, and helps. We found him through a recommendation, and this accommodation is definitely worth it. Minor inconveniences are more than compensated by the proximity to the Sahara, the excellent atmosphere, and outstanding breakfasts. Overall, top marks.

“Perfect place”

Everything is great. A soulful owner, excellent facilities with hot water and AC in the middle of nowhere, an outstanding experience. Everything was fine.

Thanks to Youssef for the wonderful moments spent at the Kasbah des Dunes; we had a great time and were perfectly welcomed! It feels like home in a dream setting in the middle of the desert. The location is top, Hassilabied is a tiny quiet village far from the Merzouga crowds. Special mention for the generous breakfast; Youssef keeps bringing you treats, making several trips to the kitchen and always coming back with food, a joke, and a big smile. If you’re on a diet, skip the breakfast option! Youssef also found us good excursions at good prices and is always there to help. We’ll gladly return to the Kasbah des Dunes.
