“Justo para ser una cuatro estrellas”

The room was large and spacious, the shower was roomy with a good flow tap, the sink was big with a nice mirror, the wardrobe and balcony were generous, and the location was just one street from the beach level. When we arrived we were gifted a bottle of cava in the room. The shower in one of the rooms (we had two because we were a family) smelled like sewer, and the whole room smelled that way. We mentioned it and they came with bleach, but the problem persisted. There was no drying rack on the balcony. Breakfast was fine but lacked variety; fruit and other options were missing. Dinner was scant. There was little variety in fish, meat, pasta, and vegetables. One night they had a montaditos theme, but there were almost no other options. The signs that indicate the meals were disordered and incomplete (above the pâté they put goat cheese and the pâté was a few places away, above the fruit they put milk… there were prepared meals that didn’t specify the type of sauce, for example), making it hard for people with allergies or specific food needs. I was pregnant and avoided some items just in case, which was a pity. The buffet closed at 21.30. At that time they started clearing the food; it wasn’t the last entry time. They started clearing and told us with little politeness, and when we hurried for dessert we didn’t even have tongs to pick anything. The pool only has a few sun moments, so the water was frozen. The floor in the area needs renewal, loose sand. It has an infinity pool but with a €35 supplement (which includes drinks). All the cards (two rooms and parking) got messed up on different days and we had to go to reception several times to fix it.

The staff were kind. Dinner and breakfast could be improved; the outdoor pool is shallow and not very deep.

The staff were very friendly and the location was good. For a 4‑star hotel, the condition of the facilities and some furniture was a bit lacking. The toilet water cut out every day around noon for about an hour.

It’s situated relatively close to the beach—just a 5‑minute walk; cafés, shops, and markets are also nearby. The rail station is about a 15‑20 minute walk, and Barcelona is an hour away by train. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels are changed; breakfast was okay.
