“AWFUL!!!!!!”
The location was fine. Our stay was from 9/4 to 9/6. The first red flag appeared at checkout when the staff asked if we wanted to check out our room before they offered us a different one; I’ve never experienced that before, so we declined. Inside the new room, masking tape was taped to the sides to fix a piece that apparently couldn’t be repaired. The bathroom lacked a bathtub plug, which I only noticed at the last minute, so I had to use a washcloth to block the drain for my first night’s bath. While plugging my phone behind the nightstand, I found a pile of crumbs that looked like Pop Tart pieces. The room was set up like a kitchen with a fridge, a 2‑burner stove, a microwave, and a sink, yet there were no dishes, pots, pans, silverware, soap, or paper towels—wasting money on a room with no usable amenities. We received three pillows instead of four, so I brought my own extra. The worst part came on the evening of 9/5 when I was getting ready for dinner with my boyfriend. While standing in front of the bed’s mirror, I thought I saw a stink bug, but it was actually a baby cockroach on the floor. I immediately called the front desk, holding the washcloth with the roach. They told me to come down to the desk, but when I arrived they said, “We don’t need to see it—we believe you!” and mentioned they had had issues before. That explains why they’d asked us if we wanted to check out first. I told them I wanted a refund for both nights.
