“Room 105”

The décor was gorgeous and it paid homage to Williamsport’s history, making it far more engaging than a generic hotel; the price was solid. I appreciated the morning texts that let me know if housekeeping was needed and the key‑less push‑button entry was a nice touch. The shower was fantastic, and the small but tall windows gave me complete privacy while still letting enough light in to see the bathroom and wake up naturally. In room 105 I would have preferred a microwave inside the room instead of in the lobby, and the bathroom needed hooks to hang towels—perhaps moving the picture to the blank wall by the toilet and adding hooks there would help.

“Give this place a try!”

Every time I drive through Williamsport, I pass by the City Hall Grand Hotel, and this time I finally stopped for the night. The building feels different and intriguing, and I’m happy I booked it. The rooms are unique, steeped in history, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The restaurant and pub on the lower level were a nice surprise, especially since we arrived late. There are also lounges inside the hotel. Williamsport itself is a walkable town with tree‑lined sidewalks, coffee shops, book shops, and a variety of unique stores, murals, and historic markers.

The décor is mostly original, and I had easy access to the restaurant. The room was comfortable. The only downside was that there was no fridge.
