“VERY DISSAPOINTED and would not recommend!”
The host was friendly, but upon entering the house all first‑floor doors to other rooms were shut with a “Private” sign, making us feel unwelcome and as if we were barred from our own room; the room itself was very dark and claustrophobic, the slanted ceiling caused us to bump our heads frequently, there was no view outside, three walls were painted dark grey, the bed cover was heavy and dark, the bath towels were also dark, and based on a queen bed’s dimensions the room measured roughly 7.5 feet wide by 17 feet long; the space was overcrowded, and the Forest Hills Lodge photos did not accurately reflect the room’s size or space.
