I liked the house, but it was infested with cockroaches and needed fumigation.

The place is in a nice area, but it's a huge house where rooms are only accessible from the inside, and there were about 10 male guests inside and outside when I arrived. The shared cooking and swimming areas made me feel uneasy as a woman sharing space with my son and daughter, and this detail wasn’t disclosed during booking. I cancelled right away, yet they won’t refund me.

The family room with a private bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally kind. However, the location was inconvenient for visiting Table Mountain, Camps Bay beach, and the VA waterfront, forcing me to pay extra for transport. The host who answered the confirmation call sounded unwelcoming, and there were cockroaches in the kitchen and in our room, which was disappointing.

There was no hot water, so I couldn’t shower, and flies kept me awake. The toilet door had no lock, and I was interrupted five times by people walking in while I was in the bathroom. The air‑con was broken and they only gave me a fan. When I arrived, loud music and a party were playing, and the owner refused to refund me after I pointed out that the advertised private bathroom was missing. I slept in my car until it quieted down and only slipped into my room late at night. This was the worst experience of my life, and I will never stay there again. I will remove this review if I get a full refund.
