Everything was fantastic: the room was cool, spotless, and well cared for, it’s close to North Charleston, and the Burgundy Lounge was a blast; there was nothing to criticize.

The new motel was comfortable, offered great value for Charleston, and the staff were skilled and polite; reaching the city center requires a car, but it only takes 10‑15 minutes.

“Cute affordable motel just outside of downtown Charleston”

Cute and adorable little motel about 15 min drive to downtown Charleston. We wanted to stay downtown but the prices were 2-3x more than the starlight, so this was a great alternative for 1 night. The A/C worked great!. Only complaint was the bright light outside the front door that was on all night

“A groovy place to crash a relax.”

The retro vibe paired with modern fixtures made for a great bed, though the usual outside noise from this type of place was unavoidable.
