“Perfect access to rainforest”
The food was great (half board, plus lunch from the a‑la‑carte menu). We ordered one of the special fosh dishes in advance and it was fantastic. The location was excellent and the activities were great too. Being inside the national park, the sounds and wildlife outside the door were 10/10. A hotel in one of the world’s oldest rainforests should improve its environmental practices. There was a heavy use of single‑use plastics – straws, stirrers – and no drinking water stations around the property, pushing guests to buy more plastic bottles. The only water dispenser was in the restaurant and it was extremely slow to fill a bottle. The activities were good, but the organisers couldn’t offer flexibility or advice beyond the basic activities, such as suggestions for self‑guided walks or alternative times for private guide sessions.
