“By far the most lovely place and host we’ve had on this Camino trip!”

Suzanne was absolutely lovely, kind, generous, and went out of her way to look after us. She drove us into town to shop and picked us up. It was the best stay on the whole Camino trip for us, which started in Porto. The room was beautifully decorated with special wall finishes, spotlessly clean, and the garden and pool were so relaxing. I wish I could have stayed a week! The breakfast was brilliant and Suzanne helped us find a spot for dinner. It’s just off the Camino path before you get into the town center, so very convenient and not too far to walk in if you’re up to it after a Camino day. Nothing to dislike!

José and his gorgeous wife—whose name we regrettably didn’t learn—were so attentive and caring. Their property is beautiful with a lovely garden and seating area. We could have stayed there all week. Nothing.

“Best hosts ever”

Susana and José are delightful, took very good care of us, and made us feel at home. They’re the best hosts we’ve had. The food was delicious, breakfast was fresh and plentiful, there’s plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, the beds are comfortable, there’s a salt‑water pool, laundry is possible, and the owners drove us into and back from Caldas de Reis, introduced us to mela cotón and aguardiente. We would definitely return. We stayed 2 nights. We liked everything.

The accommodation was outstanding, extremely clean, fantastic staff, very, very friendly, like paradise, better than any 5‑star hotel…
