The staff here are incredible, they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make the atmosphere lovely.

“Wonderful stay with amazing restaurant and staff”
The old manor house was lovely and presented perfectly.

The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The location was lovely and the food was great.

This character property had beautiful decor and grounds, and the stay was lovely; the staff were very professional and attentive—nothing was too much trouble, and they even gave us a personalised card and chocolates for our anniversary 😊. Breakfast and dinner were superb as well.

The old building was charming and the décor was great. The heating ran on timers, and with a breeze coming through the old wooden sash windows the room felt a bit cold.

The room was freshly renovated and offered a lovely countryside view from the window; the bathroom was brilliant with plenty of towels, the bed was very comfortable with superb bedding, and the purpose‑designed reading lights were perfect. The location was surprisingly quiet even though the A19 was nearby, and the hotel had a careful charm with very welcoming staff. I ate once at the bar and enjoyed the meal range, but I skipped breakfast because it cost an extra £25 per person. I would have liked a more generous all‑in breakfast quote, as we had enjoyed elsewhere on this tour.
