We absolutely loved our stay here. We originally booked five days, left for a short inland trip, and ended up coming back afterwards because we simply missed the place. Yogi, the owner, became a real friend during our time there – and we already miss him. The atmosphere is calm, personal and laid-back, perfect if you want to get away from the busier vibe of Busua and slow down for a few days. There is a small gym, some yoga mats and plenty of space to just relax. We also really liked the community project Yogi runs for local after-school kids. You can see how much energy and heart he puts into it. It also makes the place a great option for volunteers, but we stayed purely as travellers and felt completely at home. It is also a good base for exploring the area. We did day trips to Princes Town and hiked up to the lighthouse at Cape Three Points, and Yogi was always happy to help us with ideas, transport and planning. The food was another highlight. Teresa is an amazing cook – her Groundnut Soup was probably our favourite meal. We also really enjoyed hanging out with Steven and had a lot of good times together. For surfers, there is a fun right-hander point directly in front of the place. On small to medium swells we had some really good waves there, usually with nobody else in the water. On bigger swells the break did not handle the conditions as well, and Busua was the better option. There are also other nearby spots such as Katakor and Paradise, although we did not surf them enough to give a proper assessment. Yogi joined us for a few sessions as well, which was great. One thing to keep in mind: this is a simple, laid-back place rather than a luxury hotel. The rooms are basic, the bathroom is shared and our mattress was quite firm. But for us, that simplicity was also part of the charm – we especially loved the outdoor shower. If you are mainly looking for hotel-style comfort, this might not be the right place for you

What a fantastic spot, set in a gorgeous setting with the beach only about 100 m away. The facilities are simple yet clean and well maintained, exactly what I was looking for. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the food is delicious with generous portions. There’s a wide selection of food and drinks, and the owner, Joseph or Yogi, runs the place to support a project that gives local kids a place to hang out and learn after school, so your money goes to a worthy cause. I can’t recommend this place enough!

On Mar 30 at 2:47 PM I stayed in a secluded, peaceful area with a beautiful ocean view and a stunning vista from nearby Cape Three Points. The hotel staff were helpful and kind.
