“Bon séjour dans le centre de Naples !”
Very clean, everything we needed was available (stove, pot, fridge, towels). The bed was very large and the bathroom also very big! The accommodation is well‑situated near several important points in Naples. The table is quite small, which can be a drawback for eating. Be careful with arrival time because we had to pay a late‑arrival surcharge that we only learned about after booking. There is no self‑check‑in, so that’s a point to note so you’re not surprised.
“Caring owner.”
The owner was extremely caring, the apartment was beautiful and spotless, and it offered good value for money—highly recommend.
We loved the space and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was great, right between the station, the main hustle and bustle, and just minutes from some amazing pizza.
“Estancia maravillosa”
Antonietta, the owner, was incredibly friendly and showed us great spots to eat and visit, treating us like family. The place is close to the main street, though the neighborhood isn’t the best, but for the price it’s decent and the accommodation had everything. The only downside was the noise on the floor above at night—people shouting and kids running around, so we had to ask them to keep it down because the whole building was shaking.
“Would not recommend staying in this place.”
The flat’s location near the station and old town was the main reason we chose it. We didn’t expect to encounter many homeless people gathering near the building; it was uncomfortable to return home at night through a crowd of drunk or intoxicated individuals, and we felt scared. At 23:00 that same evening, someone buzzed our door, and we thought someone was following us; it turned out to be the owner, as we had forgotten to turn on a light that didn’t exist. The camera above the entrance is likely for visitors, not strangers. We had an unpleasant conversation with the owner, who doesn’t speak English. Though we managed to sort out the bill issue, she was not very understanding, quickly shifting from helpful to demanding and even threatening to report us to booking. There are extra costs for using air conditioning—5 Eur per day, which we agreed to pay, but it felt odd to see this as an extra in Italy during the middle of summer. The kitchenette’s pot was very old and burnt. I would not recommend staying there.
