The staff who welcomed us were very kind and took great care of us throughout our stay; breakfast was amazing and the garden was very relaxing—thanks, Hibiscus Hotel.

The setting is pretty. When we arrived, the room was dirty and hadn’t even been swept—unacceptable! There was no fridge, whereas other rooms at the same price did have one!

“Not worth the stay”

The bed was comfy, but the room had no Wi‑Fi and a gardener was mowing the lawn right next to us, which sent grass into our faces. It was a Saturday afternoon at 4 pm.

“Started poorly but developed into a really good 48 hour stay.”

A small Japanese‑garden oasis right in Kone’s heart, with great homemade breakfast featuring local produce, a lovely pool, and really good staff. The lack of a restaurant, which has been closed for ages, and the low tourist traffic made the place feel a bit empty. There was no Wi‑Fi for the first 24 hours on site.
