The location was spot on, the room was comfy, and the breakfast was fresh with local produce, but the manager seemed a bit clueless.

“A beautiful location with a spectacular sea view”

We spent two nights at Porto Mani Suites in Mani and were thrilled by the spot‑on location; the sea view from our suite was stunning and the spacious room had a large balcony. The private beach, accessed by a natural rocky path, added a secluded charm, and the peaceful setting with breathtaking views made for a great escape into Mani’s wild side. The property is quite remote, with Areopoli about 30–35 minutes by car, which is worth noting when picking a stay. That remoteness also contributes to the peace, nature, and amazing sea views. Ten minutes by car in Gerolimenas there are many restaurants; we chose Akrotainaritis Tavern on the waterfront, a very good spot with fair prices. On the opposite side, the road ends about 20 minutes away by car, where nice tavernas with beautiful views and a lighthouse reachable on foot await; it’s worth a visit. The breakfast, however, was rather modest, with limited quantity and presentation, and this area definitely needs improvement.

We loved the welcome, the host’s attitude, the chance to pick our suite, and the willingness to help and give advice, but there’s room to improve the breakfast.

The site “La vue sur la mer” was great, but the hotel seems hard to maintain and the sea air doesn’t help!
