“Easy to find for an overnight stop”
The room had tea, coffee, a fan, and a hairdryer. Wi‑Fi was reasonable, extra bedding was in the cupboards, and the room was small but comfortable with no one looking out the windows (view from the back over the roof into fields). An interesting set of mirrors in the bathroom lets you see the back of your head. There was plenty of parking, though I arrived late and can’t say when the restaurant/bar opens. I used SatNav to find the place on the first try. Checking in was hard: no one was at the desk, and I couldn’t get to the bar as instructed because the doors were locked. Luckily a staff member rang to find me; otherwise I would have waited at the windows waving at anyone who passed by. The shower was a bit dark, and I’m not sure how the rooms look when the bar is open downstairs.
