“Accoglienza impeccabile; buona posizione”

Delicious and welcoming room in an Austrian apartment near the station, equipped with a mini‑fridge, shower bathroom, personal hygiene kit, phone, kettle with sugar, coffee and a wide selection of teas, plus breakfast prepared by the host. Public transport links were excellent, the city center was reachable on foot, and there were plenty of bistros nearby. The owner was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The lack of an elevator and the dated windows are part of the charm of a historic apartment.

“Un buon punto di riferimento per Trieste”

The house is very pretty and Giovanna is a kind and helpful lady. The area we used, consisting of the room and the bathrooms, was separated from the rest of the house by a curtain, but that didn’t bother us at all. The location is great: it’s not in the city centre, but it’s about a 15‑minute walk or a few minutes by bus, with the stop a few metres from the property. Breakfast was simple and, in our case, included milk, coffee, bread, fruit and jam; for the jam, single portions might be preferable. It’s certainly a solid reference point for a possible return to Trieste.
