It was absolutely beautiful, just loved it. There was everything you could need in the room, including toiletries, drinks, tv etc. Evert the host is ace!. Nothing - the stairs are a bit brutal after a few beers
The place is in a perfect spot with a canal view, and chatting with the host was easy and relaxed. Check‑in and check‑out were flexible and hassle‑free.

I had a great stay at Canal House, especially as a solo traveller. The location was ideal—central, within a short walk of Central station, restaurants, Dam Square, Jordaan, and other sights. The room was roomy, airy, well kept, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. A special shout‑out to Evert, the owner, who was extremely kind and helpful, ensuring the stay was relaxing and pleasant. I’d gladly return and highly recommend Canal House to anyone visiting Amsterdam! There were no negatives; it met and exceeded every expectation.
