The hotel is nicely situated and quiet, and the double room is large and well maintained. Breakfast is good, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The parking offers ample space. However, the rooms are a bit noisy, and when we opened the roof window to ventilate, dust and birch pollen unfortunately drifted onto the bed. The scrambled eggs were unfortunately overcooked, dry, and firm.

Nice pension, beautiful wellness, excellent cuisine, pleasant and welcoming staff, and as a bonus an amazing memory barn – a museum of our youth… fantastic! Perfect for a peaceful weekend of rest. The children from a larger family gathering were louder, but otherwise everything was fine.

They should have a pool, which would have been a plus if the property hadn’t closed suddenly because of “technical issues” right before I arrived. 1. They don’t care about their customers, even when the property breaks its own rules. 2. The property had “technical issues” but didn’t inform me in time. 3. Those problems meant they couldn’t accommodate me. 4. They sent me a message only about three hours before my scheduled arrival, but I couldn’t see it because I was driving. 5. They didn’t call or text me, so I wondered if they even knew about the situation. 6. Neither the property nor anyone offered alternative accommodation. 7. As a result, I arrived late in the evening with my family and young children. It was already dark, we were in a rural area in Germany, the property was closed, nobody was there, and no one answered the phone. 8. I had to urgently find somewhere else for my family and children to spend the night, entirely on my own. 9. In addition, neither the property nor anyone cancelled the reservation; instead, they asked me to cancel it myself, which violates their own rules.
