“Heaven on Earth”

Passalacqua is both sublime and awesome—those words barely capture the overwhelming beauty and warmth of this stunning hotel. Perched on a glorious hillside garden overlooking Lake Como, it benefits from great staff and a boutique feel that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s villa. Typical hotel foyers are omitted here, and we’re welcomed with a drink in the small bar before being shown to our room. The room is deeply moody in colour, furnishings, and lighting, with classical proportions that make us feel welcome, secure, and special all at once. We even caught a glimpse of the lake, which was an added bonus. It’s the best!

The natural surroundings are magnificent, the hotel is very intimate, perfect for those who love solitude and relaxation. The fantastic collection of antiques and amazing restaurants make you feel like you’re staying with the owner of the villa, not in a hotel.

“A experiência no Passalacqua foi simplesmente magnífica”

The experience at Passalacqua was simply magnificent. From the reception, with welcome drinks that already signal the care in every detail, to the breathtaking view that surrounds and enchants you. The service is impeccable, with a courtesy that makes you feel truly special. Breakfast is divine, turning the start of the day into a ritual, and the bedding comfort… indescribable. After an intense week of work at the Milan design week, living this moment of pause and rest was a true dream come true. Our boat tour organised by the hotel was another highlight—light, charming, and memorable. And of course, Paulo nailed the photos, capturing everything with sensitivity. Thanks to the whole Passalacqua team for so much care and affection. We’ll be back soon. As an architect who loves details, the bathroom is beautiful!

“Truly the best hotel in the world”

Everything. Passalacqua is simply extraordinary and a destination in itself. The location is breathtaking and truly unique. A special mention to the outstanding team—from the bellboys to the director, Chef Viviana, the Michelin‑starred chef, who creates a refined tasting experience (the lobster with caviar was unforgettable). Breakfast was exceptional—among the best I have ever had. The flower experience was a beautiful and memorable touch for my wife. The SPA is elegant and relaxing, and the access to the lake is seamless and sophisticated, with the possibility to explore Lake Como aboard stunning Colombo 31 Superindios boats—a treat that perfectly completes the stay. An unforgettable experience in every detail. No complaints.
