The ibis Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences hotel is situated on the Rhone River Banks in southern Lyon, near motorways A7 and A6. The hotel features 24-hour reception, a bar, and private parking. It's 600 metres from Musée des Confluences and 200 metres from Halle Tony Garnier. Air-conditioned rooms have LCD TVs, private bathrooms, and some offer museum views. Free WiFi and buffet breakfast are available.

The location was ideal, but everything was fine.

The staff were kind, yet the hotel was under renovation and the work started at 7 am, making it impossible to rest; the neighborhood felt very unsafe, with few restaurants forcing us to eat at the Novotel, and the area was full of homeless people, makeshift tents and begging along the Rhône, which made me feel insecure after dark.

Everything was great, especially the restaurant and the courteous waiters, including Ines, but morning construction work started at 7:45 am.
