The price was fair, the spot was good, the staff were friendly, and overall it was a good deal, though the hotel was old but clean.

Getting to Iwata is convenient, there's a shuttle stop nearby, a convenience store is about a 6‑minute walk, the bath was comfortable, but the Wi‑Fi was slow, the annex had an old squat toilet, and the service was okay.

The staff spoke English well and were lovely, the food was okay with a mix of Japanese and Western breakfast, the bedding felt a bit uncomfortable to me but seemed fine for others, it was cozy, nice, affordable, and I recommend it for a budget stay. Thanks.

The onsen was great, the building was old but very clean, bathrooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily, and the location was quiet, but we were traveling with a 4‑year‑old, booked a triple room but only received two beds, and the manager wouldn’t add a third bed without full payment for another adult.

There was no breakfast, the room we got didn’t match the description, the toilet had an extremely unpleasant smell and holes in the floor, and the water was frozen; everything could be better, the host made minimal effort to help and offered little assistance beyond saying, “I’m sorry.”
