The place is well‑located, the air‑conditioning works great and everything is clean, but the soundproofing is terrible—I can hear everything happening in the rooms next to mine even when they speak softly.

I liked the downstairs café and the upstairs café, both very good, tidy, and quiet, with a beautiful view; the rooms are well‑arranged, clean, and the two‑bedroom room costs 250 riyals, the three‑bedroom room 300 riyals. I didn’t like that the café only opens at 12 pm; it would be better if it opened earlier for guests, as it’s hard to leave the hotel due to limited services. A covered seating area on the roof or below could serve as a quick‑service restaurant for breakfast or on‑demand meals, offering snacks, beans, eggs, potatoes, and falafel, with refrigeration and on‑call service. Overall, a nice experience visiting the area.

The hotel sits atop the mountain and offers a nice view from the café, but there’s no restaurant and no nearby food outlets.

The internet was very weak, which hindered our apartment access. We were delayed over half an hour getting into the apartments because the reception staff said the Shams website wasn’t working, so we couldn’t enter until the site opened, and we had to wait in the car for a long time.
